With the death of the family patriarch, “Tacho” Stanton Gabriel, a power vacuum opened for control of an organization called the Night Court, a black-bag op financed by Militech with the task of ensuring the success and secrecy of covert operations operations, corporate intelligence gathering, black site protection, and preventing the rise of rogue edgerunners like the Cyber Six. Under Tacho, the Night Court experienced little opposition, though a group of edgerunners and anti-corporatists, particularly those influenced by Dead Poetry, have formed a resistance group known as the Night Patrol Anti-Stantonists (NiPAS) that have begun to raise awareness of the group’s activities and have been able to win a few guerilla firefights.
After Tacho’s daughter, Teresa Stanton, masterminded the killing of her brothers Pedro and “Tachito” and mother Marietta, she has taken control of the Night Court with the help of several collaborators from within The School’s Reef operation. Her end game is unknown.

IN MEMORIUM
-
Leader (Ret.)
Anastasio "Tacho" Stanton Gabriel was a high-ranking executive with Militech who was ousted to appease political enemies of the company. Though he was burned by those he trusted, he was given a generous severance package and, through contacts within the organization, able to amass a toolbox of fun toys to aggregate a Militech-blackops street gang that could better enforce the company’s fascist needs and, in particular, prevent the rise of underground heroes like the Cyber Six. He named this group the Night Court. “Tacho” recently died by heart attack, though some suspect he was poisoned.

Pedro Stanton was sent away from Night City at a young age to be educated at a private military academy. He was a dutiful lieutenant to his father’s enterprise, but never possessed the qualities of a leader.

Marietta’s son through an affair with a Militech officer and rival of Tacho's named XXXXXX XXXXXXXX-Silver.
Niccola was educated in Night City, and eventually his illegitimate father paid for him to attend an elite military boarding school. He returned to Night City and began a career with Militech. His family ties are unknown there, though he has benefitted from them.
Behind the scenes he [UNKNOWN TO PARTY] and had limited communication with Teresa via Dr. Eliza Sheela, a mysterious woman who introduced Niccola to the NiPAS-adjacent group known as the School. He has tried to convince Teresa to leave the family and join him on the Reef, saying that her mother will kill her in hopes that she can have him take his father’s place as patriarch of the Night Court. This did not work in his favor.
STATUS: DEAD (STABBED BY TERESA STANTON)
-
Leader
Teresa Stanton is the lone daughter of Anastasio and Marietta Stanton. For years, Teresa was thought of as a liability and a party girl, somebody who would never be able to rise to the expectations of her father. She slumped into the shadows and gained a reputation as a drugged-up rich girl blowing daddy’s money up her nose and her potential down the drain.
Unbeknownst to all, Teresa conspired with Dr. Eliza Sheela to manipulate her half-brother Niccola into using their mother, Marietta, to hire assassins to eliminate her siblings. The plan would keep her hands clean, enable her to deliver the Reef and many members of the NiPAS to Militech, and erase all competition for leadership in the Night Court – including her brothers, as well as Niccola and their mother, Marietta.
Despite somewhat peaceful parting words to the group, it remains unclear her motivation or disposition toward the party.

Night City Envoy
Mr. Dickerson was an envoy for Marietta and Niccola, now for Teresa. Formerly a trusted ally of Tacho, it is likely that Dickerson knows the true means by which the patriarch of the Stanton family met his demise. It is then likely that he has been put in the pocket of whomever led the overthrow of the Night Court, and he subsequently led their effort to recruit the edgerunners that would eradicate the remaining Stanton siblings once and for all.

Until recently, Anastasio Jr. was seen as the de facto heir to leadership after the complications with his sister and death of his father. Tachito, however, was a spoiled dunce – whereas his father at least had experience and vision, Tachito simply wanted power. His stomach guides him, and he does not understand the risks of biting off more than he can chew when it comes to city power – specifically, upsetting Militech and the corpos.

Driver
A driver, tactician, and former contract assassin tasked with assisting the group in making it to their destinations on time.
Driven solely by money and honor. He was the only familiar face in the operation to the party and known to Dickerson, who trusts him implicitly.
After meeting the group at an agreed-to rendezvous point, Hubert was mercilessly slaughtered by a restless party.

Mercenary
Formerly Dax Karme’s most trusted confidante within the NiPAS, Logan “Bean” Wilkinson embedded himself with the School as a White Fish after being recruited as a double agent by Eliza Sheela.
Bean's betrayal came suddenly, when he volunteered to assist Dr. Sheela to interrogate Dax Kaerme about recent abnormalities and security failures on the Reef – notably, the assassination attempt against Dr. Fishhead. Whereas Wilkinson was supposed to participate in the interrogation as a neutral arbiter and friend of Dax’s, he used the opportunity to isolate his former comrade in arms in an attempt to get information out of him: namely, the identity of the NiPAS’ enigmatic leader, “The Siren.”

Matriarch
Anastasio’s estranged wife, Marietta Stanton Debayle lurked in the shadows plotting against a family that rejected her – specifically, kids who did not treat her as a mother and who cut her out of their lives while becoming troubled, spoiled sociopaths in their own right.
Her end goal was to replace them in line of Night Court leadership with the son she conceived with a Militech executive and rival of Anastasio’s - one of the several who helped force him out of the private sector. Her plan was foiled by Teresa Stanton, who beat her to the punch.

Unknown
In her position as a therapist for Night City's rich and powerful, Dr. Eliza Sheela was able to both watch after Militech’s property - Dr. Fishhead - and sabotage Militech’s rivals by recruiting other executives to join the School’s “Salmon” group, funneling their resources and finances toward the School as Fishhead studied “The Gift.”
Sheela aligned with Teresa Stanton to recruit Niccola Silver into the School, manipulate him into arranging the assassination of her brothers via the resources of their mother, Marietta, and deplete the Reef’s defenses so that Militech could break up the cult, abscond with the mysterious Gift, and deliver leadership of the Night Court to the ambitious Stanton girl. Due to mitigating circumstances and Norville's grenade usage, this plan only partially succeeded.
