The Night Patrol Anti-Stantonistas (NiPAS) is a revolutionary group comprised of Militech enemies (whistleblowers, former law enforcement, edgerunners who ended up on the kill list, families of victims, mercenaries supplied by Arasaka, etc.) who are at war with the Stanton family’s Night Court as part of a larger war against Militech.

The party became familiar with members of the NiPAS during their time at Dr. Fishhead’s Reef facility, as they had some overlap between members of the NiPAS and Fishhead’s School. After suffering betrayals resulting in their inability to capitalize on the death of Stanton patriarch Tacho, the group has been struggling to play defense as their members are scattered and Militech increases their efforts to locate and destroy members of their senior leadership - most notably, an enigmatic figure known as Siren.

IN MEMORIUM

  • A mousey NiPAS member that always followed his surrogate big brother – Dax Kaerme’s – lead, Ken Rome also joined the School at his closest friend's request. His loyalty to Kaerme, and lack of self-awareness, proved itself to be a dangerous combination however when he came to be betrayed by his once-comrade, “Bean”.

  • Street Lieutenant

    A high-ranking lieutenant in NiPAS who made his bones first fighting in the Dead Poetry Riots alongside his loyalist friends “Bean” Wilkinson and Ken Rome. Dax later served as a loyal member of the School, providing an example of a rare man who could serve two masters with equal affinity and effectiveness.

    The destruction of the School, aided by “Bean’s” betrayal (which resulted in Rome's death and Militech at the School’s doorstep), hit Dax exceptionally hard. During the attack he had been beaten within an inch of his life as Militech operatives attempted to steal from him information pertaining to the identity of "the Siren" – information which few men aside from Dax possess, and which he would never willingly share. Dax escaped with the party to shore after the assault and has since been seen by Dusty Montgomery, who learned he is hunting Bean for revenge.

    Nothing is known about the mysterious leader of the NiPAS except for the suggestion by Dax that the enigmatic figure in fact exists. Sought after by Militech and members of NiPAS.
